Talking Clouds: a bouquet made by fifteen poetess

75 poems by fifteen poetesses of the natural province of Shillong (Meghalaya) were handpicked and formed into ‘Samvad Karte Megh’ a book published from Srijanpith Prayagraj. The launch on 03 April witnessed eminent figures from the literary world and others like Prof. Bharat Prasad Tripathi, Prof. Anand Dixit of Hindi Department of North Eastern Hill University, Brahmachari Vairagyachetan Maharaj, Head of Ramakrishna Mission Education Department, Padmashree awarded Meghalaya’s famous litterateur Sylvi Pasha, social worker and Hindi promoter Bimal Bajaj. Vice President of the organization and co-editor of the collection, Neeta Sharma presented the complete journey of the collection, giving credit to editor Dr. Anita Panda ‘Anvi’ for giving shape to the poetry collection. All the guests praised the poetry collection and called it an excellent and unprecedented step for the promotion of Hindi by non Hindi-speaking women in North-East India The Vice Chancellor of North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Prof. Prabhashankar Shukla had inaugurated it in the auditorium of Bangiya Sahitya Parishad, Shillong who was the chief guest of the occasssion said ‘I am feeling proud to be aware of the poetic talent of fifteen renowned poetesses of Meghalaya. I consider this a great achievement of women in a non-Hindi speaking state and congratulate all the poetesses included in this collection.’
