"In 'Folded Memories, artist Jaya Boro crafts a mesmerizing installation from clay, meticulously recreating the gentle folds of fabric. This tactile exploration invites viewers to contemplate the intimate relationship between texture, memory, and the human experience. As the clay folds seem to shift and ripple, they evoke the whispers of forgotten stories, the softness of a loved one's touch, and the comforting familiarity of a well-worn garment. By suspending these fragile, earthy folds in midair, Jaya Boro freezes time, allowing us to ponder the fleeting nature of memory and the enduring power of sensory recall.
